University of Auckland - Property Scholarship
AlexanderDorrington provides a scholarship for students of the Department of Property at the University of Auckland Business School. The scholarship is awarded annually to a full-time student enrolled in year 2 or 3 of a Bachelor of Property or Bachelor of Property conjoint. The basis of selection is academic merit as determined by year 1 results, communication and inter-personal skills and the potential to succeed in the property industry.

Duffy Books
AlexanderDorrington participates in a number of sponsorships. For several years now we have funded books for three Northland schools through Duffy Books www.booksinhomes.org.nz.
Our sponsorship gives the kids that go to these schools four books each year and extra books that the school uses throughout the year for prizes.
One of the schools we sponsor is Tautoro School, near Kaikohe. A couple years ago Debra Dorrington and her son Quinn visited Tautoro School. They were welcomed with a powhiri, treated to some fabulous singing from the kids at Tautoro School and sent home with gifts of cards, stories and a carved mere. It was a very special visit.
