Current Practice
Davina focuses on banking and finance law, and in particular acting for lenders in financial transactions. She also assists the commercial team's partners in other commercial matters.
Recent experience
- Acting for finance companies on commercial lending transcations for first and second mortgagees including major developments and restructures;
- Managing a residential home loan portfolio for a finance company;
- Acting for finance companies on recovery matters including issuing Property Law Act notices and attending to mortgagee sales.
Memberships
Affiliate member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
Previous employment
Prior to AlexanderDorrington, Davina worked in London as well as in-house for a major bank and a leading law firm in Auckland.
Qualification
Davina gained her legal executive qualification in 2003 and has been with AlexanderDorrington since April 2008.
Other interests
Davina enjoys running, mountain biking and travelling. Her most memorable trip was her camping tour through Africa, visiting the Masai tribe in the Masai Mara, trekking through the jungle to see the gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo and volunteer work for a school in Uganda.
