Current Practice
Bonnie's current focus is on conveyancing and subdivisions. She can provide sensible and practical advice to buyers and sellers of residential and commercial property, including how to avoid the pitfalls. Bonnie has completed a number of residential subdivisions and has also worked for developers in the sell down of unit title apartments and sections.
Recent experience
- Expert in unit title conveyancing acting for buyers and sellers of apartments in Auckland, including apartments subject to management contracts
- Acting for various property traders buying and selling property, including bulk buy arrangements and on-sales;
- Acting for an investor client in the purchase of a multi-tenanted carpark;
- Assisting an overseas investor to acquire, manage and develop properties throughout New Zealand;
- Acting for the developer in relation to a series of continual subdivisions, boundary adjustments and sales of sections at Hahei Beach over several years;
- Assisting borrowers with development funding;
- Assisting with the establishment of farm parks and other developments involving common ownership;
- Acting for the developer in the sell down of 65 sections in a farmpark development in Whitford;
- Subdivisions, boundary adjustments and creation of easements;
- Acting on the sale of shares by a closely held company;
- Acting for landlords in preparing ADLS leases for shops and offices;
- Acting for home buyers and sellers;
- Refinancing residential and commercial property;
- Acting in the preparation and negotiation of property relationship agreements;
- Assiting in the management of litigation proceedings.
Qualifications
Bonnie joined AlexanderDorrington in 2001 and gained her legal executive qualification in 2004.
Other interests
Bonnie enjoys doing artwork although finding time can sometimes be a challenge. Her house is a constant DIY project but she enjoys rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck into the job at hand. She loves to go camping and enjoys travelling and is looking forward to her upcoming safari through Africa! To relax she enjoys chilling out with a good book and curling up with her three cats.
